Admittance
Children 5 years old by September 1st or currently enrolled in a half-day kindergarten school program may participate in the Kindergarten Enrichment.
Little Treasure Schoolhouse provides services to children and families regardless of their race religion, gender, cultural heritage, national origin, political beliefs, parents’ marital status, disability, or sexual orientation.
Illness Policy
A child may not attend the Kindergarten or after school program, if he/she was not able to attend school due to illness, or was sent home from Reading Kindergarten
Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is due with registration.
The family maximum is $90.00. Registration for the following school year begins the last week of January for new families and the first week in January for current families. You may leave your registration sheet at the school beginning in November. When you find out your child’s Kindergarten session from the Reading Public School, please call or email our school with the information.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of one month’s tuition will be due by the first week in August. The deposit will be applied to your last tuition payment in June. Tuition is due the first of each month August through May.
Tuition
Tuition is due on the first school day of the month. The tuition is calculated including early release days, partial months, snow days, and teacher in service days, no afternoon Kindergarten on Wednesdays, and five week months. For convenience, the tuition is then divided equally by the 10 months. The monthly tuition is due for 10 months August - May.
The full tuition is due for all months including, but not limited to holidays, illness, vacations, inclement weather, and other planned or unplanned absences. Due to staffing schedules we are unable to switch days within the program. Early withdrawal is not an accepted practice. The monthly tuition does include all early release days. A deposit of the first month’s tuition is due on August 1st.

Sibling Discount
A 10% sibling discount may be taken off the lesser tuition payment.
Orientation
The children will have a 45 minute orientation in August. This time is for parents to meet with the Director and for the children to meet their teachers, their bus drivers, and each other. You must fill out your child’s paperwork at the orientation. If you cannot attend the orientation please call the school to set up another time to meet. Your child cannot start school without the required Kindergarten paperwork and a recent physical, lead test, and immunization sheet.
Allergies/Medicine
If your child has allergies or medicine that needs to stay at the school, please schedule a visit with the director to review your child’s medical information.
Licensing Authority
Little Treasures Schoolhouse is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
