MWF - T TH - or Monday - Friday Mornings
8:30 am - 11:30 am or 8:45 am - 11:45 am
The preschool program follows the Reading Public School Calendar, and closes school vacations, 2 weeks at December break, teacher-in-service, inclement weather, school delays, and holidays. - We do not provide transportation to school in the morning.
- Little Treasure Schoolhouse does not provide drop-in service.
- Due to staffing schedules switching days is not permitted.

Admittance
Children 2 years and 9 months may enroll in the preschool program.
Little Treasure Schoolhouse provides services to children and families regardless of their race religion, gender, cultural heritage, national origin, political beliefs, parents’ marital status, disability, or sexual orientation. You must provide a copy of your child’s most recent (within one year) physical, updated immunizations and lead test to be able to start school.
Class Sizes
We have 2 half day preschool classes. We have 22 children and 3 preschool teachers.
Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is due with registration. The family maximum is $90.00. Registration for the following school year begins the last week of January for new families and the first week in January for current families. You may leave your registration sheet at the school beginning in November. Registration is done by lottery; you will be notified by email and/or phone call once your registration has been processed. If your child is on the waiting list the registration fee will be returned to you.
Visit our School
Please come visit our school at our open house. We have an Open House each year on a Sunday in November from 2 – 4 pm. Please check our website for the next open house.
Tuition
Tuition is due on the first school day of the month. The tuition is calculated including vacation weeks, partial months, and five week months. For convenience, the tuition is then divided equally by the 10 school months. The monthly tuition is due for 10 months August – May. Tuition is non-refundable once it is due and paid. The full tuition is due for all months including, but not limited to holidays, illness, vacations, inclement weather, partial months, and other planned or unplanned absences. Early withdrawal is not an accepted practice.
T/Th classes $155 per month M/W/F classes $200 per month
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of one month’s tuition will be due by August 1st. The deposit will be applied to your last tuition payment in June. Tuition is due on the first of each month August through May. Please send a copy of your child’s physical, immunizations, and lead test with your first deposit. Inclement Weather
The preschool program will close due to inclement weather if the Reading Public Schools are closed. We will also close when the Reading Schools have a delayed opening. Playdate
The children will have a 45 minute playdate or orientation in the beginning of September. This playdate is for parents and children starting school in September (sorry we cannot have siblings). The parents will meet with the director and the children will meet with their teacher and the children in their class. At this time parents will receive their parent handbook, and fill out paperwork. You may bring spare clothes, health form, medicine, and diapers at this time. You may visit the school during the summer and receive your handbook and paperwork before the playdate.
Allergies/Medicine
If your child has allergies or medicine that needs to stay at the school, please schedule a visit with the director to review your child’s medical information. Licensing Authority
Little Treasures Schoolhouse is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
